Pleasures

This was a previously yucky basement space that now serves as my Man Cave/Office Space. It's my own space, where I can spread out my books, make messes, fiddle with toys, watch bad television, warble while I play the banjo, and even get a little writing done. It's spacious yet cozy, and it's full of all sorts of little interesting bits that remind me of family, friends, and my works-in-progress.

Sorrows

The fireplace is unsafe to use, it sits next to a basement toolshop, and it's too far from the fridge. And I have yet to write the Great American Novel in it. Probably because I'm tromping up the damn stairs to raid the fridge.
